RIYADH: Reaffirming the diplomatic mission’s commitment to its diaspora, the newly appointed Indian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Vipul, announced that resolving the issues faced by the Indian community will be his top priority. Addressing journalists at the embassy, the envoy emphasized that the mission’s doors remain fully open to everyone seeking assistance.
Ambassador Vipul underscored the importance of working closely with Indian social and cultural organizations in the Kingdom to effectively address the grievances of expatriates. Noting that Saudi Arabia is home to a robust diaspora of 2.7 million Indians, he highlighted the critical need to further strengthen bilateral ties between the two nations in the coming years, assuring that all necessary steps will be taken to achieve this goal.
“Indians residing here should work towards the mutual growth and benefit of both India and Saudi Arabia,” the Ambassador stated, acknowledging the strong foundation of cooperation that already exists across multiple sectors.
Shifting the focus to economic diplomacy, the envoy assured that the embassy will make every effort to maintain and elevate the excellent trade and investment relations between New Delhi and Riyadh. He pointed out that India’s rapid economic ascent, coupled with Saudi Arabia’s ambitious, multifaceted developmental projects under Vision 2030, has unlocked unprecedented investment opportunities for both nations.
Looking ahead, Ambassador Vipul confirmed that bilateral cooperation will be expanded into emerging and strategic fields. He emphasized that the two countries will focus on ensuring strong partnerships in cutting-edge sectors, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), advanced technology, and renewable energy.
