JEDDAH. AMU Old Boys Association Jeddah, in collaboration with the Training and Placement Office (General), Aligarh Muslim University, organized a hybrid Career Guidance Seminar under its Youth Empowerment initiative.
The seminar aimed to guide AMU graduates and school students in choosing the right academic and career paths with proper information, skills, and confidence. It received an excellent response, with around 400 students registered from AMU and nearly 50 students attending physically in Jeddah.
The distinguished speakers were Mr. Ajit Awasare, GM, Godrej Infotech, Mumbai on Information Technology; Mr. Asim Zeeshan Khan, General Manager Marketing, Abdul Latif Jameel Oils Company, Jeddah on Business Management & Marketing; Dr. Zergham Zia, Chairman of Radiology & Consultant , King Faisal Specialist Hospital, Jeddah on Medicine; and Mr. Omer Aqeel Khan, Product & Data Solutions Manager, York-Johnson Controls, Jeddah on Mechanical Engineering.
The program began with Tilawat-e-Quran by Fahad Zinjani, followed by an introduction and eloquent anchoring by General Secretary Prince Ziaul Hasan Mufti. In his welcome address, AMUOBA Jeddah President Engr. Aqeel Jamil Khan highlighted the importance of choosing the right career with proper guidance, skills, confidence, and a positive mindset.
Mr. Saad Hameed, Training and Placement Officer, AMU, addressed the gathering and appreciated the initiative. The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks by Rabnawaz Khan.
AMUOBA Jeddah reaffirmed its commitment to continue such meaningful programs for youth empowerment and career development.
