JEDDAH. The highly anticipated Saudi Arabia Jewellery Exposition (SAJEX 2025) is set to open its doors from 11th to 13th September at the Jeddah Superdome. Hosted as a pivotal B2B platform, SAJEX is the biggest and first ever dedicated gem and jewellery trade show. Organised by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) of India, under the patronage of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, and the Consulate General of India in Jeddah, with the backing of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment, the expo aims to bolster trade ties and open avenues for collaboration between Indian and Saudi jewellery sectors. The event has already drew over 280 key stakeholders, including top retailers, wholesalers, and manufacturers from Saudi Arabia.
What to Expect
- Global Participation: Over 200 exhibitors from India, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Turkey, Hong Kong, and Lebanon are expected to showcase their offerings across hundreds of booths.
- Diverse Product Range: Attendees can explore creations featuring gold jewellery in 18K, 21K, and 22K, diamond and coloured gemstone pieces, lab-grown diamond collections, as well as advanced jewellery technology.
- World Jewellery Investment Forum: The event will also feature this high-profile forum co-hosted by GJEPC and Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment. It aims to foster strategic partnerships and attract investment across the global jewellery value chain.
Amid mounting international trade pressures and rising US tariff threats, SAJEX represents a proactive move by India to diversify export destinations, particularly within the booming Middle East market. With Saudi Arabia’s jewellery market expected to expand from $4.56 billion in 2024 to $8.34 billion by 2030, the expo arrives at a moment of immense opportunity.
“SAJEX 2025 promises to be a dynamic fusion of trade, innovation, and investment—presenting Indian and global stakeholders with an exceptional platform to tap into one of the region’s most vibrant jewellery markets,” said Consul General of India in Jeddah, Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri. SAJEX would serve as a strategic bridge—connecting Indian manufacturing prowess with Saudi Arabia’s evolving luxury retail landscape and young consumer base.
