Red Sea Tourism Set to Make Waves As Aroya debuts With ‘No Limits’

Cruise Saudi AROYA no limit

JEDDAH. Saudi Arabia is charting a bold new course in maritime tourism with the launch of the “No Limits” campaign, coinciding with a historic milestone – the maiden voyage of Aroya, the country’s first Red Sea cruise ship.

The Saudi Red Sea Authority (SRSA) is spearheading this ambitious initiative, which aims to transform the Kingdom’s 1,800-kilometer coastline into a world-class tourist destination. The campaign showcases an array of coastal activities, from luxury cruises and yachting to diving among pristine coral reefs and recreational fishing.

What sets the Red Sea apart?

The region boasts a unique winter-warm climate, spectacular marine life, and endless stretches of golden beaches. These natural assets are now being complemented by carefully curated tourism experiences that meet SRSA’s rigorous safety and environmental protection standards.

In a significant move to professionalize the sector, SRSA has granted its first Maritime Tourism Agent License to Cruise Saudi, along with a pioneering Leisure Tourism Technical License for the Aroya vessel. The authority has also rolled out comprehensive regulations and four Technical Codes to strengthen the industry’s infrastructure.

This initiative represents more than just tourism development – it’s a key component of Vision 2030’s economic diversification strategy. By combining world-class infrastructure with our natural maritime heritage, we’re creating a new chapter in Saudi tourism.

The campaign meticulously maps out certified operator locations and activities, ensuring tourists can easily access and enjoy high-quality coastal experiences while preserving the Red Sea’s marine ecosystem.

With these developments, Saudi Arabia is positioning itself as a major player in the global maritime tourism sector, offering experiences that range from luxury cruises to adventure water sports, all while maintaining a careful balance between development and environmental stewardship.
