Embassy of India launches third edition celebrating India’s cultural diversity and diaspora talent
Riyadh, — The Embassy of India in Riyadh inaugurated the third edition of “Pravasi Parichay,” a week-long cultural festival celebrating India’s rich heritage and the creative spirit of the Indian diaspora in Saudi Arabia. The festival, which runs from October 28 to November 3, 2025, was launched in partnership with Indian community associations across the Kingdom.
The opening day dazzled audiences with a Bollywood Musical Night, featuring talented singers from the Indian community who delivered a mesmerizing blend of golden-era melodies and contemporary hits. The electrifying performances captivated the audience, reflecting the vibrant musical talent within the diaspora.

Adding an artistic dimension to the evening, the “Viksit Bharat Art Exhibition” showcased over 20 remarkable paintings by women artists from the Indian community. The exhibition offered a visual journey through India’s artistic diversity, creativity, and evolving cultural narratives.
Ambassador Dr. Suhel Ajaz Khan lauded the enthusiastic participation of the Indian community and their continued support in making Pravasi Parichay a cultural landmark in Saudi Arabia. He highlighted that the festival not only celebrates India’s art, music, and cuisine but also serves as a bridge strengthening the bond between the Embassy and the Indian diaspora.
Launched in 2023, Pravasi Parichay has become a flagship event of the Indian Embassy in Riyadh, featuring state-themed days, classical and folk performances, and regional culinary showcases. The 2025 edition coincides with National Unity Day (October 31), reinforcing India’s enduring spirit of unity in diversity.
The week-long celebration promises a vibrant lineup of performances and exhibitions representing India’s cultural mosaic — a tribute to the creativity, unity, and pride of the Indian diaspora in Saudi Arabia.
