RIYADH. Middle East’s top low-cost airline Flynas has announced a strategic expansion of its domestic network, introducing direct flights connecting Dammam’s King Fahad International Airport to the newly developed Red Sea International Airport, starting December 28.
The twice-weekly service marks a significant step in connecting Saudi Arabia’s eastern economic hub with its ambitious Red Sea tourism mega project, a flagship development under Vision 2030. This new route demonstrates the growing accessibility of Saudi Arabia’s emerging tourism destinations.
Since its inception in 2007, Flynas has established itself as a major player in regional aviation, serving over 80 million passengers. Operating from four strategic bases across the Kingdom, the airline currently maintains a robust schedule of more than 1,500 weekly flights to over 70 destinations.
The airline has set its sights on expanding its network to 165 destinations, supporting the Kingdom’s vision of becoming a global tourism and business hub. The new route is expected to play a crucial role in facilitating access to the Red Sea Project, one of Saudi Arabia’s most ambitious tourism developments, while strengthening domestic air connectivity between the Kingdom’s eastern and western regions.
