Jandris (Syria): King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continued distributing various relief items to people affected by the earthquake in Jandris City in Aleppo Governorate, Syria. KSrelief distributed 10 tons and 700 kilograms of food baskets, 100 shelter bags, 100 shelter tents, and 200 blankets, benefiting 509 individuals, including 100 families affected by the earthquake.
This comes within the framework of the Saudi Relief Airlift, dispatched by KSrelief, to help the people affected by the earthquake in Syria and Turkiye in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and an embodiment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian role.
On Sunday, 22 relief trucks supplied by the KSrelief had crossed the Bab Al-Hawa Border Crossing Point, carrying various relief materials for distribution in the earthquake affected Syrian regions. In addition, 22 other trucks passed through the Bab Al-Salamah Border Crossing Point. The 44 trucks were loaded with 50,000 blankets and 200 tons of charcoal, intended for heating purposes, which will benefit around 325,000 individuals.
This initiative is part of the Saudi Relief Airlift dispatched by KSrelief, aimed at assisting individuals impacted by the earthquake in Syria and Turkiye, in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
