JEDDAH. Global Fertility Network (GFN), a dynamic Saudi-Emirati leader in fertility and women’s health, has acquired a majority stake in Jeddah’s HealthPlus Fertility Center, marking its second major move in Saudi Arabia this year. The center will now operate under GFN’s Bnoon IVF brand, following the earlier acquisition of Bnoon IVF Center in Riyadh.

With an investment exceeding 100 million Saudi Riyals (USD 27 million), these acquisitions lay the groundwork for GFN’s bold plan to build the largest fertility network in Saudi Arabia and the GCC. Both Bnoon and HealthPlus Fertility were previously part of M42’s healthcare portfolio from 2022 to 2024.

GFN has now doubled its capacity, delivering over 5,000 IVF cycles annually, cementing its position as the Kingdom’s leading stand-alone provider of assisted reproductive services. A state-of-the-art 3,800-square-meter facility in northern Riyadh is also under construction, set to open in December 2025, offering cutting-edge fertility, reproductive genetics, and comprehensive women’s health services.

Majd Abu Zant, GFN’s Founder and CEO, shared, “Our expansion in Saudi Arabia is a key step toward creating a regional powerhouse in fertility and women’s health. Under the Bnoon brand, we’re uniting top Saudi IVF experts with world-class laboratories to deliver exceptional reproductive care.”

GFN’s growth is fueled by robust financial backing, including $60 million in equity financing from a consortium of Saudi and UAE institutional investors and family offices. Dubai Investments, listed on the Dubai Financial Market, holds a 34.3% stake in GFN.

“We’re actively pursuing more acquisitions across the region and planning new IVF centers in Khobar, Abha, and beyond,” Abu Zant added. “With our partners’ support, we’re accelerating access to innovative technologies, improving outcomes, and making fertility care more inclusive.”

Dr. Abdulaziz Muhammad AlShahrani, a prominent Saudi IVF consultant, Bnoon’s Founder in Riyadh, and Group Medical Director, noted the rising demand for fertility treatments. “More couples are seeking solutions for primary and secondary infertility, driven by growing awareness and a desire to prevent genetic diseases. GFN’s network empowers us to deliver superior care, leveraging shared innovation and advanced technology to push the boundaries of reproductive medicine.”

Dr. Fawaz Adeeb Edris, Executive Director at Bnoon in Jeddah (formerly HealthPlus Fertility) and a leading IVF consultant, emphasized the region’s growing need for fertility services. “With fertility rates declining and infertility affecting roughly 15% of GCC couples, demand is surging due to delayed parenthood, socioeconomic pressures, obesity, PCOS, and men’s health issues. Bnoon’s unified network enhances access to personalized, high-quality care, integrating AI and data-driven innovations to lead the fertility sector while supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 for healthcare innovation.”
